Beat Brain cancer 5k Run & 1 Mile Walk
Last year, we raised an amazing $17,000 for Zoey Daggett and her family. Unfortunately, Zoey passed away in July 2018 after showing the world her strength and her love for life. Little Zoey was an inspiration to many and will continue to inspire others forever. It was a true honor to meet Zoey who was and always will be a superhero.
This year our recipient is Vivian Stoch, a beautiful 8-year old girl from Webster, NY who loves cheerleading and gymnastics. Vivian is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment for medulloblastoma, a pediatric form of brain cancer. Vivian was diagnosed back in April of 2018 has been through surgery, radiation, and many set backs. Please help us in raising money for this strong little girl and her family as they take this journey! Pleas see Vivian’s full story on the 2019 recipient page.
This 5k run & 1 mile walk was created in memory of Desiree Stockholm, a nurse practitioner who passed away from a rare form of brain cancer at only 31 years old.
As a nurse practitioner, Desiree lived her life to help others. She would have loved to give back and help others in her same situation. Our family is helping her do just that! Please help us honor this beautiful woman and raise money for a local family in need. Brain cancer is a horrible disease and treatment is incredibly costly. By raising this money, we can help off-set the cost and help alleviate just a small amount of stress on the person and their family.
